The Afrodite Beach Development is the brainchild of a prominent Walvis Bay based businessman, John Savva. He describes Afrodite beach as a youthful dream that is finally coming to fruition. “When I was a young man I used to visit the beach often. It was on one of those breezy summer days that the idea of a luxury development started to take shape in my dreams. Today I see a dream of my youth coming to fruition. I identified this location, as the best property location on the entire Namibian coast.”

The Savva family is well respected and much loved in the community of Walvis Bay. Apart from property development concerns, John and wife Roulla Savva also run a retail business and a top rated hotel (Atlantic Hotel).
